this compilation album was created during the 2020 covid19 outbreak. a call for submissions was put out for anyone to create a song during the first week of quarantine, record it, and send it to us.
we listened to each submission collectively and carefully arranged this compilation while under shelter-in-place. it is meant to be listened to start to finish in order by volumes.

this is our community's documentation of this strange time.

any and all donations for this album will go toward the fundraiser for the pyramid scheme, a local music venue in grand rapids, mi. the pyramid scheme is very near and dear to all of us at hoom hits & the greater grand rapids music community. they, along with venues across the world, have been forced to cancel all their events until further notice and are struggling as a small business as a result of the covid19 outbreak. if you can, please donate to keep the lights on at a venue that has fearlessly supported local music since the day they opened.
